4/13/1977 – ‘Kermit’s 21st birthday party on “Dinah” show- Bernie’s party afterwards.’

Given that Kermit first appeared in 1955, his 21st birthday party in 1977 was a little late – but doesn’t everyone in Hollywood shave off a couple years when it is convenient? He celebrated on Dinah Shore’s show and, apparently, Jim’s agent Bernie Brillstein had something to celebrate, too.

Artist Bruce McNally celebrated Jim’s birthday in 1979 with this comic strip card.
