Muppet Babies (1984)

First introduced in The Muppets Take Manhattan, the Muppet Babies appear in animated form in this long-running, Emmy Award-winning children's series. These baby versions of the well-known Muppets, including Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, Rowlf, Scooter, and Gonzo, live in a nursery under the supervision of Nanny (the voice of Barbara Billingsley of Leave it to Beaver fame). Although they rarely leave the nursery, they do go on wild adventures with their imaginations. This series features an innovative use of live-action footage with animation.
