The Great Muppet Caper (1981)

The Muppets find themselves embroiled in a jewel heist in their second foray onto the big screen. Kermit, Fozzie and Gonzo attempt to restore their sullied journalistic reputations by identifying the thief who has been stealing gems from fashion designer Lady Holliday (Diana Rigg). Building on the success of The Muppet Movie, director Jim Henson developed even more spectacular scenes for this film, including a group bicycle ride in a London park, an aqua ballet "Miss Piggy style," and a tux-and-tails dance sequence. The movie also stars Charles Grodin as Lady Holliday's caddish brother, and features cameo appearances by Peter Ustinov, Robert Morley, Peter Falk, Jack Warden and John Cleese.
