"MirrorMask" is the story of Helena, who works for the family circus, and wishes--quite ironically--that she could run away and join real life. But such is not to be the case, as she finds herself on a strange journey into the Dark Lands, a fantastic landscape filled with giants, Monkeybirds and dangerous sphinxes. Helena searches for the Mirrormask, an object of enormous power that is her only hope of escaping the Dark Lands, waking the Queen of Light and returning home.

One of the most intriguing characters from the film Mirror Mask is the 'Sphinx Cat.' The effect is unsettling and made more so when the cat stalks protagonists Helena and Valentine with mayhem in mind. Gentle Giant Studios has interfaced with CGI data provided by Mr. McKean and The Jim Henson Company to bring this fascinating creature to full 3-D realization. The statue comes with two interchangeable face plates, allowing the owner to interchange them and display different facial expressions.
The Dark Queen in Dave McKean and Neil Gaiman's film Mirror Mask is a possessive mother. She does not go about getting what she wants in a nice fashion. She has oppressed both the Princess and Helena, and the Dark Queen also turns a blind eye to the dream around her. This statue stands 7" tall.
