Scripted by Anthony Minghella (The English Patient) and produced by Duncan Kenworthy (Four Weddings and a Funeral), the Emmy Award-winning television movie 'Living with Dinosaur" is a poignant, evocative drama centering on the growing pains of a troubled boy.

The story unfolds in a an English seaside town, where Dom, an only child, faces the imminent arrival of a new sibling, and subsequently diminished attention from his mother played by Juliet Stevenson (Truly, Madly, Deeply).

A stuffed toy dinosaur named Dog is Dom's friend and confidant. In contrast to Dom, Dog - an animatronic puppet made by Jim Henson's Creature Shop - is outgoing, confident and lively - and Dom relies on his friend heavily for support as he confronts his own problems, accepts the changes in his life, and understands the love he has for his parents.
