Halle Stanford
Executive Vice President of Children's Entertainment
Halle Stanford began her relationship with The Jim Henson Company in 1993 and has developed and produced several well-known properties for the company since that time. She has most recently overseen, and been one of the executive producers on the PBS KIDS series "Sid the Science Kid" and "Dinosaur Train." Halle leads the company's development and production of all preschool and children's programming for television, direct-to-video and online projects in animated and live-action formats. Other credits include "Pajanimals" currently airing on Sprout, "The Possibility Shop" currently featured on FamilyFun.com and "Wilson & Ditch: Digging America" premiering on PBSKIDSGo.org in January 2010. She is also currently developing "The Doozers," a CG animated series based on the popular "Fraggle Rock" characters and "The Skrumps," a 3D animated project. Her previous Henson projects have included "Animal Jam" and "Telling Stories with Tomie dePaola," which she also executive produced, and the successful franchise "Bear in the Big Blue House" the rights of which are now owned by The Walt Disney Company.
Apart from her work at Henson, Ms. Stanford is the founder of 7 Crows Stories, a children's creative company responsible for consulting on such projects as "Krypto" and "Baby Looney Toons," two animated preschool series for Warner Brothers Animation Studios, as well as executive producing the "Pat the Bunny" DVD series for Classic Media.
Ms. Stanford holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Film and Theater from Wesleyan University and lives in Los Angeles with her son Max.
